We have the latest and most effective laser and skin treatment designed to treat razor bumps. Razor bumps are caused by coarse hair and a curved hair follicle. As the hair tries to penetrate the skin it curls back and re-enters the skin. The skin reacts to it as a foreign object and becomes inflamed and irritated, creating bumps, discolorations and eventually scarring. A combination of the laser and professional exfoliations are effective in treating this disorder. The laser weakens the hair follicle causing it to grow slower, less curly and coarse. The exfoliations remove dead skin build up that prevents healthy hair growth. 6-8 treatments is recommended to permanently remove the hair that is leading to the ingrown hairs. Treatments are spaced 6 weeks apart. The treatment doesn’t work on grey or white hair and the client needs to shave prior to the treatment.
