Emelia - Charlotte, NC ---------- Urban skin solutions medspa review – So I took him up on it and had a chemical peel, a massage and Botox. The worst part was the chemical peel but obviously chemical peels burn and are going to hurt a little bit. It went by fast and the staff was really nice. They didn’t do it all in one day. I don’t think you’d be allowed to have Botox put on after a chemical peel or that you would want a massage in the same day. So I had the chemical peel done the first day and about two weeks later I went back for a massage and then the Botox. After the second visit to Urban Skin Solutions I felt like a million bucks. The chemical peel made my skin on my face look several years younger and a little tighter. The Botox really made me look a lot younger because they got rid of the crows feet around my eyes and on the sides of my mouth. It also made my skin look about 10 or 15 years younger – I really loved this gift my boyfriend gave me. I don’t know how much this all cost but I didn’t have to pay for and it was great. My boyfriend must really love me to go over the top with a complete medspa package like this for my Christmas present. While I was there at Urban Skin Solutions I saw they had other packages for different treatments and so I’ll probably go back in the future for something I’ve also been considering – laser hair removal. I hate shaving my legs and I’ve heard that with this simple laser treatment I wouldn’t have to shave my legs ever again – that would be great. No more nicks and cuts while trying to shave in the shower. I hate shaving my legs, so you know I will be back to have that done. I highly recommend Urban Skin Solutions and their very nice and pleasant staff. I first approached Rachel to evaluate the constant breakout of my skin, in grown hair, and discoloration, which she pinpoint to my facial hair. She recommended laser hair removal to reduce the hair growth and ingrown hair, then after 2 or 3 sessions of hair removal, to start incorporating peels to reduce the discoloration.
