About the Program

Appetite suppressant programs are an integral part of Urban Skin Solutions weight loss program. Drugs and Injections that reduce appetite are used on a short-term basis to clinically treat obesity and promote weight loss. You will meet with our Nurse practioner for a medical exam and history review and the medical assistant will also privately weigh you, administer your Lipo B12 and HCG injection, weigh you, take your measurements if desired, and calculate your BMI. After your medical exam and history review the nurse will determine if you are a candidate for Phentermine, a prescription appetitie suppressant. If you are a candidate she will write you a 35 day prescription. We require that you return on a monthly basis to meet with the nurse practioner for a physical exam, diet and exercise review, and also to refill your 35 day appetite suppressant prescription. If you only want to do the weight loss injections you only have to have meet with the NP for a physical exam every 2 months.

**You are still responsible to pay the consultation fee if the doctors does not prescribe you the medication. You are paying for him to evaluate your medical history and determine if you are a safe candidate to take the medication. Reasons why the medication isn't prescribed are extremely high blood pressure, heart problems and a BMI below 27**

Before starting or prescribing a weight loss appetite suppressant program, Urban Skin Solutions conducts a physical examination. Our appetite suppressant medication is prescribed only after a complete medical evaluation has been performed. We will not prescribe the medication phentermine if your BMI is below 25, your blood pressure is too high or too low, or you have a preexisting heart condition Our NP will inform you about the strengths of your prescribed appetite suppressant medication for your customized weight loss program. For those clients that the doctor doesn’t feel is a right candidate for Phentermine, we offer natural appetite suppressants called Prothin Packets.

The appetite suppressant drugs and injections we prescribe are effective in reducing hunger pains and thoughts about food and in making you satisfied after eating smaller portions. What is Phentermine?
Phentermine is a medication prescribed to help patients with weight loss.

Does Phentermine work?
Patients given dietary management and treated with “anorectic” drugs (like Phentermine) lose more weight on average than those given placebo plus diet. Phentermine does not work well unless a dietary plan and exercise plan is included with the pills.

How does Phentermine work?
Phentermine causes appetite suppression and increases the metabolic rate so that you feel less hungry and burn more calories when you take Phentermine. It acts by raising your noradrenaline levels which increases your sympathetic nervous system (“fight or flight”).

How much weight loss will Phentermine give me?
